Samhwa Corporation won the 3rd Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Grand Prize in the ‘overseas export category’

Samhwa Corporation was honored with the award in the overseas export category at the ‘2020 3rd Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Awards Ceremony’ hosted by the Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Association.

On December 10, at the 3rd Korea Small and Medium Enterprise Awards ceremony held at Prima Hotel Sky Hall, Samhwa Corporation received this award in recognition of its competitiveness in overseas exports.

 

In the overseas export sector, companies that have their own factories or brands and have achieved export performance of more than $5 million this year are selected. In addition to performance by sector, the image of a small and medium-sized company, growth potential, and contribution are also taken into consideration in the evaluation.

 

Samhwa Corporation develops and produces color masterbatches for plastics, functional masterbatches, and special compounds at home and abroad, and has established itself as a leading company in masterbatch technology under the brand ‘SAMTECH’.

 

While exporting to more than 40 countries with high-quality, reasonable prices and timely delivery, we succeeded in entering the European market this year, exporting 50% of our production, achieving an export performance of nearly $10 million.

 

Samhwa Corporation CEO Kwon Byung-soo has pioneered the export market in one field of masterbatch.

Meanwhile, this awards ceremony, which marks its third anniversary, is an official event of the Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Association, and after rigorous screening by a group of experts, a total of 22 companies were selected in three categories: innovative products, win-win cooperation, and overseas exports.
