I remember Chinaplas, an exhibition held in Shanghai, China in 2018. At that time, a wire specialist in the Middle East that visited Chinaplas requested a colored masterbatch with UV function added specifically for wires. The previously used colored masterbatch was imported from Europe, but it was in the situation of looking for an alternative material through Chinaplas as they were not satisfied with the unit price or product.
They visited our booth and listened to the explanation of SAMTECH brand products, and they showed great response.
In particular, in injection, extrusion, film, fiber, conduit, pipe, fiber, and coating applications, the colored masterbatch with high dispersion performance and UV stabilization effect without discoloration in the final product sent a positive sign with price competitiveness. The biggest challenge is that face-to-face business is not possible. In general, overseas customers receive a lot of requests and requests for new development and product improvement, which have been delayed for a long time through face-to-face business. However, it is difficult to respond and solve the problem by e-mail or the like. In order to overcome these difficulties, we are actively promoting video meetings as if we were conducting face-to-face meetings, and building trust.

We operate a company-affiliated research center and are developing various additive masterbatches.
Recently, we received a request from a Chinese customer to introduce a new development, and are currently being tested by several Chinese manufacturers. Full-scale delivery is expected in the second half of this year.
In our company, when domestic and overseas development cases are in progress, sales staff closely mark them to reflect the needs of customers from the beginning to the end of development.
